Cuples Prototype
A downloadable game for Linux
A prototype I made a year ago, I am pulling it out of the reject pile because I have no time for game dev this month. It's a game about making units using cups.
Your base is on the left, enemy base on the right. You want to destroy the enemy.
In the middle of the screen is grid where you can place "cups" (squares) with left click. The amount of cups you have is shown above the grid. You get more cups over time. Left clicking on a cup "flips" it (changes it from gray to black).
Remove cups from the grid with right click.
Pressing enter will attempt to summon a unit, if the configuration of cups you provided is valid. If not, you get a refund. Look at your opponent's summoned units to see which configurations are valid (however yours will be flipped). You can summon multiple units at once.
Every unit has a healthbar above it. Gray & black boxes are the unit's hitboxes. Purple zones represent a units attack range. Red boxes are attacks. Green boxes are heals.
TIP: The game will not make sense from the start, as it is very non-descriptive about what is happening.
