A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

!!! APOLOGIES IF THE CURRENT BUILD DOES NOT WORK !!! I'll try to upload a more functional build soon.

RAYMANIA (working title) is a top down racing game, inspired by the Trackmania series. It can also be considered a follow up to Web Racer.

The game features 4 cars with their own physics, 20 prebuilt tracks to race on and a track editor that will let you build your own tracks. You can also race with friends in a party mode with a limit of up to 10 people.

Currently the game is in a crude state, I only consider it a sort of "mock-up" of what the real game will be. I plan on returning to this project at a later date and finishing it.

Read the provided README for controls.

Well, it’s good to be a simple game that reminds me of retro games.

If I had to suggest something to improve, it would be the drifting. I mean, in arcade style games like this, it could be a bit less punishing on speed and have more oversteer to make taking corners a bit more fun.

But idk, it’s not my game, plus I personally love drifting, so xd.

Yeah, the game doesn’t really have drifting right now, the cars that do “drift” are more accurately just sliding, like on ice. I’ll write down the idea and will try to implement a fun drift mechanic when I resume development on the game.
